Richard Borthwick is Head of UK Wealth Solutions at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he leads the firm’s strategic engagement with wealth partners, delivering differentiated, client-led investment solutions. He also leads the UK Regional Sales team, overseeing relationships with intermediary clients across the UK (excluding London). Richard joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2014 as a Regional Sales Manager in the UK Sales team, before becoming Head of UK Regional Sales in 2023. Prior to this, he was a Regional Sales Manager at Aegon Asset Management. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA (Hons) in English and History, and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
