Abigail Mardlin is Deputy Global Head of High Yield and a senior portfolio manager. She joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments through the acquisition of BMO GAM (EMEA) in 2021. Abigail has been working in the global high yield market since 2007 when she joined BMO GAM, initially as a global high yield credit analyst covering consumer related sectors, and later as a portfolio manager. Abigail took the lead management role for Global High Yield mandates in March 2017. Prior to 2007, Abigail worked on the sell-side in the Credit Research team at Barclays Capital, covering Investment Grade and Crossover Corporates. She has been in the investment industry since 2003. Abigail holds a MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is also a CFA charterholder.
