Columbia Threadneedle Investments is aware of the illegal and fraudulent use of our company name, logo and identity by unknown persons for the use of investment scams.
Perpetrators use various methods to contact individuals including cold-calling via phone, WeChat, WhatsApp, Telegram, Line and other social messaging platforms. Please be cautious when responding to unsolicited investment proposals and requests for personal information and direct bank transfers to unknown accounts. Columbia Threadneedle Investments does not solicit investments from investors in this manner.
We would like to remind investors to be vigilant of the fraudulent applications and websites. Columbia Threadneedle Investments has never solicited or authorized any mobile or online applications in Australia.
Columbia Threadneedle Investments will not be responsible for any losses that may result from any member of the public using the fraudulent mobile applications or websites. The Company reserves the right to take legal action against any parties that infringe our intellectual property rights or associate our identity and trademark with any unlawful activities.
