Your CTF is waiting for your decision
At 18, your CTF turned into a matured CTF which simply means it has the same benefits and charges as before, but you can’t add any new money to it. It’ll stay this way until you let us know what you’d like to do next.
Confirm your identity
If you’ve not done so already, you must let us know how to communicate with you and prove your identity so we can continue to keep your investment safe.
1. Let us know how you’d prefer us to communicate with you by completing the Child Trust Fund CTF – Update Contact Details Form.
2. Provide us with proof of your identity and address. Details of what you can provide can be found here and our address is in the FAQ below.


Let us know your plans for your investment
The easiest way is to register online to manage your investment.
You can also let us know by post by completing the CTF Making a Decision Form. Send that to us at our address in the FAQs and we’ll take care of the rest.
Let's talk about risk
The value of your investments and any income from them can go down as well as up and you may not get back the original amount invested. Tax allowances and the benefits of tax-efficient accounts are subject to change and tax treatment depends upon your individual circumstances.
