In September 2025, the UK stock market recorded yet further gains with the FTSE 100 finishing the month at another all-time high, up 1.8% over the month.

The FTSE All-Share Index continued to make further progress with a total return of 0.9% in August, while the FTSE 100 recorded another all-time high when it reached 9300 during the month, before retreating to just below 9200 at the month end.

The FTSE All-Share made yet further progress during July, with a total return of just under 4.0% and the FTSE 100 achieved a new all-time high when it soared through 9000 during the month and then went on to breach 9100. During the calendar year to the end of July, the FTSE All-Share has generated a strong total return of 13.4%.
