Laura Cook is Head of Corporate Communications, Regional Lead, EMEA & APAC and the Chair of the Columbia Threadneedle Foundation. In her role, Laura oversees the Corporate Communications function for EMEA and APAC for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. This includes media relations, strategic communications, employee communications and community relations. She joined the firm in 2010 and has been working in the industry since 1998. Previously within the firm, she held the roles of Head of Strategic Communications and before that PR Manager. Prior to that, Laura worked as a Senior Media Relations Manager at Henderson Global Investors. Before that, she was a PR Executive at Morley Fund Management (now Aviva Investors). Laura holds a BA(Hons) Economics and Accounting at Newcastle University and the Investment Management Certificate.
