Andrew Dewar is a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Investment Grade Credit team. Andrew joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2022. He is the lead portfolio manager of the Sterling corporate bond strategy and is also responsible for managing global and European credit portfolios. Andrew previously worked as a portfolio manager at GAM Investments, where he was responsible for portfolio construction, implementation and management of credit portfolios. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, he conducted fundamental credit research as an investment analyst at GAM and held finance, advisory and analytical roles at Westpac. Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Management from Otago University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from Massey University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
